SILENT REVOLUTIONARIES

Broken hearts on dry bones and broken spirits

Tears like waterfalls, Truth in your lies

Sad faces when your demons laugh

Silently breaking, slowly fading away

Good deeds going unnoticed

Who you choose to love on the spotlight

They say truth shall set you free

When living the lie can save your life

Your body, their Rights

Your feelings their judgement

Phases on pages, society concludes

Hiding my happiness to keep them sane

Lurking in the shadows like a lost spirit

Hope meaning waiting many lifetimes

To show the world who you are

Hope just a state of mind but not the reality

Equal rights a facade as some are more equal than others

Mere shadows in the beautiful picture

Silent revolutionaries fighting a lifetime revolution
